Vålerenga clash sold out as KFUM Oslo tickets go on sale
Viking's home league game against Vålerenga on 29 November is already sold out. Tickets remain on sale for the visit of KFUM Oslo on 8 November, when the league leaders return to Lyse Arena. Supporters are reminded of the cash-free rules and that the kick-off time could still change.
Vålerenga night sold out
Viking's ticket shop now lists the Eliteserien home match against Vålerenga on Sunday, 29 November, as sold out. Kick-off at Lyse Arena is set for 19:15. That makes it the first fixture on the club's current "coming up next" list to carry the "UTSOLGT" label.
The listing shows how much demand there is at Lyse Arena this autumn. Viking top the Eliteserien table on 59 points after 25 games. Bodø/Glimt are level on 59 points, also after 25 games. A home fixture late in the season is therefore likely to matter at the top.
KFUM Oslo tickets still on sale
The next home league match is Viking against KFUM Oslo on Sunday, 8 November, at 17:00. The ticket shop lists it as match number 26 of the season, and tickets are on sale through Ticketco.
Supporters should note that the club warns the game could move within its weekend window, Thursday to Monday, to suit TV broadcasting. The club says no refunds are given if the date or kick-off time changes. Anyone planning travel to Stavanger should keep an eye on official club channels before booking.
KFUM Oslo currently sit eighth in the table on 30 points from 24 games. Viking won the corresponding fixture in Oslo in May, but that result does not decide anything for the match in Stavanger.
Practical advice for matchday
Lyse Arena is fully cash free. All ticket sales and kiosk purchases are by card only, and fans are encouraged to buy tickets online in advance. The ticket office, at gate 4, opens 1.5 hours before kick-off.
The club also gives guidance on where to sit. Sections J, K and L are described as the best seats in the stadium, and gold season ticket holders sit there, closest to the halfway line. Section O is home to the singing supporters and is open to everyone who wants the best atmosphere. Section B, the premium area on the Aftenblad Stand, is closest to the substitutes' benches.
Sections P and Q include 15 wheelchair-accessible spaces. Companion tickets are available in sections H, I, M, N, P and Q. Fans who need them should email [email protected] with their companion certificate and preferred seating section. Away supporters are placed in Section E, with their own kiosks and restrooms, and must buy tickets from the visiting club.
Women's team at home the day before
The weekend starts with the women's team. Viking FK W host Arna-Bjørnar W on Saturday, 7 November, at 15:00. The fixture list for the weekend therefore has two home games in two days.
